Our Work

Our work banner #17

Homeland is far from an orphanage. Instead, family reunification and reintegration to the community are our highest aims. We have a three-pronged approach for holistically supporting vulnerable children and their families.

(1) Homeland’s Residential Center in Battambang provides a place of immediate security and safety from which to assess a child’s situation and work towards reuniting with family and kin.

(2) Once a child is reintegrated, we continue to support her and her family by providing skills training and income-generation opportunities.

(3) Homeland strives to make our residential center self-sustaining so that we can provide reliable care to the community. We have two social enterprises: Fresh Eats Café and Gift Shop which serve as training schools and a source of sustainable income.
