Berghaus Fellmaster GORE-TEX Walking Boots Review

The classic Berghaus Fellmaster GTX is a wide fit and comfortable hill-walking boot that suits many if you like room to move. The wide fit doesn’t suit everyone, especially if you are looking at scrambling downhill, but for most the Berghaus GTX is perfect for hill walking and other activity like metal detecting. Combined with super comfortable memory foam padding on the ankles, the Berghaus Fellmaster makes for a solid and reliable walking boot.
Good Points:
- Memory Foam Tongue
- Comfy
- Waterproof
Not So Good Points:
- Wet Rock Grip
In this Berghaus Fellmaster GTX review we hope to cover the important things to help you decide if they are the right hiking boots for you.
Berghaus Fellmaster GTX hiking boots are made from British quality leather that is soft and supple whilst remaining durable and abrasion resistant. An assured grip is supplied with the gum rubber sole although it is not necessarily the greatest grip for rocky wet surfaces, but overall very good.

Very comfy straight out of the box and supportive around the ankle. Protection is provided with the wrap around rubber toe grip and a soft padded memory foam tongue to help keep water and grit out on dusty roads.
The Gore-Tex membrane helps the boot breathe as well as keeping you dry on those rainy days. A simple brush down after each walk and the occasional smearing of vaseline helps protect these hiking boots and keeps them in perfect condition.
They come in two colours; brown and charcoal and you can find more details by clicking the button below.
